MR. FRIGHTS: So, you really like cartoons eh? Whats the scariest TOON thing you have ever seen?-
J.D. LARABEE: I recall seeing
AKIRA for the first time in the late 80's and being almost freaked out by a Cyclist doing a face-plant going like 100+ MPH... Not to mention freaky killer Teddy Bears! And of course, there is always the FIRST "Heavy Metal" -
MR. FRIGHTS: Where do you get your ideas for the "Frightoons"?

J.D. LARABEE: Chatting with Mr. Frights himself of course. Its a collaboration thing! But of course I do throw my own goofiness in there every so often! I Love Da cheese!

MR. FRIGHTS: So, if you were in a Five With Frights "Frightoon", where almost everyone meets a horrific end, how would you "go out"?

J.D. LARABEE: I cant DIE or be hurt in a "Frightoon", I AM DEEGLE... LOL. But if I DID have to "get it", it would be like

MR. FRIGHTS: Aside from Mr. Frights, did you ever draw or animate anything else that is as equally scary and cool?

J.D. LARABEE: Actually, some of the first stuff I drew for "the public" was sets of famous horror icon cartoons, and a horror/hero comic called
Johnnie Zombie for Keith Cousineau. Only did 1 full story issue, but I did some filler gags that were fun and equally "scary".

Army of Darkness... OF COURSE! he is cocky, cool AND funny... A lot like Mr. Frights can be at times. Although he is isn't the scary bad guy, he sure loves mixin' it up with some deadites! GROOVY!

J.D. LARABEE: Well, clowns ALWAYS freak me out since
Stephen King's IT. But a MUTE big-headed King shoving burgers in my
pie hole is equally freaky... I chose the JACK-In-The Box guy!!!! That nose could stab you to death easily!
