Craig McGee invites you to do your own 31 Days of Halloween movie challenge in the latest post to Mr. Frights' Scary Stuff: The Big Blog of Doom and Things. We're also working on some new stuff for October here as we're not planning on leaving you without any Frights for the Holiday. We'll make more announcements as we get things ironed out.

Our SCARE THE HELL OUT OF MR. FRIGHTS writing contest is over... and we have our winner! Bryan Erdy is taking home the prize with his chilling tale called 'Three Cans'. I encourage everyone to take a read of his short story and start to think up some more ideas for the next time Mr. Frights hosts a writing contest. Bryan's story will be posted on the contest page along with past winners of the Scare The Hell Out of Mr. Frights contests.

Well, we didn't make it to our 600 'likes' so I didn't get to give away those CD's after all. It's cool though, we made it to 500 and that's a lot closer to the magic 666 number when I'll be giving some lucky Frights follower a pretty sweet prize!

I'll be running another contest to give those CDs away though, so still go out to Facebook and 'like' Mr. Frights there and follow along to find out when and how I'll be giving that stuff away.

In the meantime, check out my latest review of CARNIVAL ARCANE the new CD from MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE. I'll also [hopefully] be posting a brand new interview with the duo shortly and be giving away a copy of the new CD, probably through my Facebook page, so look for that!

Also, big thanks for all those who took the time to go check out my FRIGHT NIGHT review. That post is up to over 1,600 views so far and still climbing!

August 4th 2011 - FRIGHT NIGHT!

I was lucky enough to get passes to see the new Fright Night flick. If you're like me, you probably had some misgivings about how bad the movie was gonna be. Some may have even written it off from the start. I'm here to implore you to change your mind and give the movie a chance, because it's actually a slice of horror awesomeness!
